
Firefighters and sheriff’s deputies responded to a structure fire late Wednesday night in the 100 block of Marshall Street in Campti.
According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Deputy S. Kennedy, Sgt. C. Olliff, and units from Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #9 arrived on scene on April 30 around 10:30 p.m. to find a double-wide manufactured home on fire.
There were no reported injuries, and relatives of the homeowner stated the residence had been vacant for several years. The cause of the fire was undetermined at the time of the report.
The scene remained active into the night, and Cleco was contacted to assist with the emergency response.
