Six weeks of programs, activities, and literacy will make up the Natchitoches Parish Library’s Teen Reading Program. Programs will be held every Thursday, June 4 – July 9, from 3 – 4:30 p.m. Programs include: Superhero game day, Minute to win it, Suit Up and more. Incentives will be offered to teens who complete their weekly reading logs and a grand prize drawing will be held for those teens that complete the program.
Registration for the Teen Summer Reading Program will begin on June 1 and will continue until June 5. Parents can register their children for the Summer Reading or the Teen Summer Reading programs by visiting the Natchitoches Parish Library located at 450 Second St. in Natchitoches.
Due to limitations, the activities portion of the teen program is limited to the first 30 teens & pre-teens who register. However the reading portion of the program is open to all pre-teens and teens ages 11 – 17.
The Natchitoches Parish Library would like to thank the Friends of the Natchitoches Library, LLC for making the 2015 Teen Summer Reading program possible.
