The Bank of Montgomery’s Ken Hale was elected as Treasurer of the Louisiana Bankers Association (LBA) for 2015-2016. The announcement was made during the 115th Annual LBA Convention & Exposition held May 13-15.

Ken Hale is President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Montgomery with branches in Natchitoches, Montgomery, Derry and Many.

The Bank of Montgomery was established in 1903 in Montgomery, Louisiana. In 1996 the bank expanded into Natchitoches Parish by opening a location in Derry, Louisiana. When the Derry location was opened, the bank had 18 million in assets. Today, the bank has grown to over 170 million with over 17 million in capital. The most recent branch to open is in Sabine Parish at 603 Highway 171 Bypass in Many, Louisiana. This branch opened as a Loan Production Office in November of 2013 but quickly became a full service branch in March of 2014.
