I am withdrawing my candidacy for the District 3 Councilperson seat of the Natchitoches Parish Council.  I appreciate the opportunity the voters of District 3 have given me to serve them over the last three years, but the time has come for me to step aside.  Doug Degraffenried has qualified for this position and I firmly believe he is capable of leading the Natchitoches Parish Council for the next term.  Mr. Degraffenried will bring a fresh set of eyes and new ideas that are critically important to solving the challenges ahead.  Please support Doug and good governance at the local level!
