City Fire Department responds to house fire

This afternoon the City of Natchitoches fire department responded to a house fire on Cypress Avenue.  The Natchitoches Parish Journal and residents of Cypress Avenue would like to acknowledge the assistance of Natchitoches Parish Fire District 6 for their mutual aid of manpower and specialized equipment in extinguishing the fire and preventing its spread to others structures.

  1. I am glad they were able to control, contain and stop the fire and no life lost..
I hope they can rebuild the house.
My daughter and I attended school (Marie- Scholars’) (‘Dad’ Rick- Northwestern) Graduates in 2003.
Natchitoches is a beautiful place in all senses of the word ‘beautiful’.

You still do the Xmass light festival, it is great. Good holidays, best wishes to everyone

  2. Great stop on this house fire. With the close proximity of adjoining house it could have easily turned into multiple structures involvement. Proud of the Natchitoches Fire Dept and Fire District 6 for their response.
