Natchitoches Parish 4-H members in 4th-6th grades just returned from an exciting week at 4-H Summer Camp at Camp Grant Walker in Pollock. While at camp, 4-Hers had the opportunity to participate in various tracks of their choice, including Outdoor Adventures, Water Safety, and Wetlands, just to name a few. In addition to the educational tracks, youth had free time each evening for dancing, arts & crafts, swimming, archery, and other activities. Campers received awards for outstanding character and learned compass and pacing in the Outdoor Adventures track. They enjoyed a dance during free time and were taught archery during track time on the second day of camp.
