These meetings will inform the voting public about the proposition on the Nov. 8 Ballot for School District 9, which is all Natchitoches City Schools. Hear how the Natchitoches Parish School Board intends to use the funds to enhance all students’ learning experience. Major renovations were done to these schools in the mid 90s, and these same schools are in need of some major renovations again. The focus of this proposed 20-year bond issue will be energy efficient upgrades to the lighting systems, air conditioning and heating systems, bathroom renovations, campus security upgrades, roof repairs and facility additions at the high school and junior high.
