Natchitoches Police Department officers were dispatched to Affordable Home Furnishings Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. When they arrived they spoke with the manager of the business who advised that he and another employee were getting ready to close the store when a masked man came in the front door with a gun and demanded the manager to give him money.
The other employee was in the back of the business at the time of the robbery and the suspect ordered her to get out of the building. She fled the building in an attempt to notify authorities.

The manager gave the masked assailant the money and was ordered to get on the floor. The suspect ran out the front door of the business.

Neither of the employees was injured during this incident.
