A tip from a concerned citizen to the Natchitoches Police Department dispatched officers to Jeff’s Guns located at 1580 Texas Street in reference to suspicious subjects around the business Dec. 1 at 11:45 p.m.

Upon their arrival, officers observed two black male subjects running away from the rear of the business. One subject identified as Quandarious Williams (B/M, age 18) was later apprehended in the 800 block of Hope Street. Williams had items in his possession that were used in the burglary.

Williams was arrested and charged with Simple Burglary, Illegal Carrying of Weapons and possession of burglary tools. He remains in Natchitoches Parish Detention Center awaiting bond.

The second subject has not been located at this time.
