  18. Congratulations to Chris! I have known him for many years and have learned to appreciate his many qualities, both as an administrator and as a person. He is a leader who can get the job done in a manner that incentivizes those around him to strive for even greater attainment. While there were other candidates for the presidency, Chris has one qualification that none other has–his knowledge of the university and this region. He is recognized as a leader and a “people person”. His appointment confirms that NSU is on the right track and will continue to get even better. I am confident that he will serve NSU and the state with distinction.
