Annual Pull Together Sporting Clay Tournament entries open for June 17 event in Natchitoches

Shooting Tournament 2017
Entries are open for the Saturday, June 17 Pull Together Sporting Clay Tournament at the Natchitoches Shooting Range to benefit the Empower Nepali Girls Foundation.

The United Methodist Men of First United Methodist Church of Natchitoches host the annual event. Funds raised have rebuilt an earthquake-ravaged school and provided clothing, school supplies and other basic necessities for girls in the country best known as the home of Mount Everest.

The tournament includes team and individual competition in four-person teams with 15 stations and 100 targets. Shooters must provide their own ammunition (no heavy load or steel shot). The trail is a walking course with golf carts and side-by-sides permitted, but 4-wheelers are not allowed.

Shooters under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Lunch is provided to all contestants following the tournament.

A four-person team entry is $400. Individual registration is $125. A Dynamic Duo (father-child pair) is $200. Warm ups are $10, and mulligans are $20.

Registration is encouraged in advance by visiting the FUMC of Natchitoches office at 220 Rue Amulet, across from the City Park. Registration on June 17 begins at 8 a.m. at the Natchitoches Shooting Range, 635 Tauzin Island Road, Natchitoches.

Warm ups are from 8-8:45 with a safety talk following before the tournament begins at 9.
