Do you have any old dogs houses/kennels/transport containers laying around your house? Instead of them cluttering up your yard donate them to the Natchitoches Animal Control Shelter. Employees will clean them and sanitize them and either utilize them at the shelter or find a family that’s in need of a shelter for their pet.

The shelter is also in need of fans. With the summer heat and humidity, employees are doing the best they can but it doesn’t feel like enough for the canines and felines. Donations of or towards shop type fans are needed. No box fans please as there is a lot of area at the shelter and water is utilized constantly. Other items the shelter is always looking for includes food, bleach, and multi use cleaning solvents (fabuloso).
