Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Texas man on felony drug charges during a traffic stop near Clarence July 8, resulting in the seizure of suspected marijuana and ecstasy according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
NPSO Patrol Division deputies were in the Clarence area at 7:50 pm when they stopped a 2006 Dodge Charger for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as John L. Johnson, of Grand Prairie, Texas. Johnson’s drivers license was suspended.
A local wrecker service was contacted to impound the vehicle. Deputies say while waiting on the wrecker, Johnson asked if he could retrieve some personal items from the vehicle. While doing so, deputies observed Johnson throwing a bag of suspected marijuana under the vehicle in plain view. Johnson was placed under arrest.
A search of the vehicle also led to the seizure of a bag containing approximately 32 ecstasy tablets, a small amount of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a Smith & Wesson 9mm semi-automatic handgun.
John L. Johnson, 38, of the 2700 block of N. Hwy 360, Grand Prairie, Texas was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center and charged with Possession of CDS Schedule I Marijuana, Possession of CDS Schedule I Ecstasy, and Illegal Possession of a
Firearm during a Narcotics Offense.
Johnson was released on bond pending a court appearance. He was traveling to the St. Maurice area of Winn Parish.

Ppl always got something to say instead of praying. Smh idk personally know this man but come on, there are more things that are important besides pulling someone over and messing with their stuff. If ppl want to do drugs, it’s their body. The times we live in today Everyone has a habbit. From drinking to taking medication systematically, over eating, gambling. If you gonna band one thing band them all. Especially that medication the pharmacy is slowly killing everybody with… And that’s just how I feel about it. This system contradicts itself in many ways. So does this state and the u.s.a. Everything is just wrong in this world
