Weeks Tractor has deep roots in the Natchitoches community

Billy Weeks has no regrets in life, working a consistent career selling tractors and equipment for 48 years. He graduated high school on a Friday night in 1970 and went to work at CE Collins & Sons the following Monday. The company changed hands through the years and in 1996, Billy went to work for Scott Tractor. He eventually bought the store in 2001.

“It’s the people that’s blessed us over the years,” said Billy.

Serving the Natchitoches community and surrounding areas for over 48 years Weeks Tractor & Supply Company is a one-stop-shop from financing to repairs. Offering convenience with its Sales, Parts, and Service Departments, Weeks carries a wide variety of products from hay balers to portable buildings and handheld equipment for the homeowner.

“The community has been really good to us over the years,” said Billy. “We’re the dealer of choice for most people. Every deal I do is personal. Everyone I deal with is personal because they’re more like family and friends to me.”

Billy’s wife Dianne says another reason for their success is the family atmosphere they foster with the high quality employees, including Sales and HR Manager Jennifer Sparks, Accountant Sheila Noe, Receptionists Jan Benton and Khadijah Sowell, Head Mechanic Gary Bynog, Technicians Duncan Stoker and Riley Baker and Andy Ferguson and Gordon Rivet in the Parts Department.

“It’s a close-knit family here,” said Gary. He was born into a family of mechanics and everything in his life revolved around farm equipment. He rebuilt his first motor when he was 14.

Gordon, a retired journalist, and his wife Edyce moved to Natchitoches from New Orleans in 1992. “It feels like home here,” said Gordon.

Andy takes pride in what he does and in what he can do for the customers. He grew up taking things apart to see how they work. Now he enjoys looking through diagrams to find the parts a customer needs.

Everyone working at Weeks agrees, the main focus is customer service.

“We try to go the extra mile,” said Jennifer. “We love seeing our customers happy.”
