Unlike other events hosted by this young professional group, Pub Crawl is open to anyone age 21 or over. Chamber Board Chairman Ryan Todtenbier stated, “The Pub Crawl is a local favorite event that always helps raise money for a good cause. This year, a portion of the proceeds will go towards funding the first annual Young Professional Leadership Conference, which will be hosted in Natchitoches late July.” Additionally, the Pub Crawl stops will feature a “chunk your change” bucket for Relay for Life.
Natchitoches Young Professional’s Pub Crawl Committee member Austin Niette stated about Pub Crawl, “I am very excited about this year’s Pub Crawl. We’re looking forward to watching Flow Tribe rock the house on the new Riverbank stage. It’s been fun to see this event grow. I know this is going to be our best year yet!”
The Pub Crawl has several sponsors this year including the Natchitoches Historic District Development Commission, Northwestern State University Alumni Association, Mama’s Oyster House and Blue’s Room, Rhodes Properties and Development, Rhodes Realty, Sharpco Hotels Group, Eagle Distributing, Tommy’s Tees, Great Raft Brewing, and CP-TEL. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Sponsorship inquiries can be directed to Dr. Haley Taitano, at email@example.com.
Tickets are $40. Those who register before March 10 will get a t-shirt included with their registration. Each crawler will receive two free beer tickets. The official beer of the 2018 Pub Crawl is the 318 Golden Ale, which will make its debut in Natchitoches during this event. In addition to the two free beer tickets, all registrants will receive an armband that entitles them to the drink and appetizer specials available at each location, a hangover baggy (courtesy of Rhodes Properties and Development and Rhodes Realty), a coozie, and other Saint Patrick’s Day trinkets.
