Natchitoches Registrar of Voters, Debbie Waskom, “rang the bell” for Ms. Blaine Banghart as she came in to cast her first vote as a Natchitoches resident. She and her husband George Broussard moved to our city from Texas. Blaine teaches music at a school in Shreveport while her husband George works at the local Sherwin Williams paint store. They are both recent NSU alumni.

The Natchitoches Parish Journal would like to take this opportunity to welcome the two of them to Natchitoches and to wish them a long and happy life together – and many more elections here!
