Clarence Mayor sues area cattle owner for cow related injuries

Clarence Mayor Tommy Evans filed a petition for damages against Rayburn Smith for injuries Evans claims he sustained while checking on Clarence’s oxidation pond. The paperwork states that when Evans opened a gate the cattle rushed him, knocked him to the ground, and trampled him.

Evans also claims that this incident occurred due to negligence on Smith’s part due to failure to maintain the premises/cattle, failure to warn invitees of the presence of a potentially dangerous condition and more.

Evans injuries are described as “great and excruciating pain, both mental and physical, together with the inability to engage in normal social and recreational activities, which inability may be permanent.” SEE DOCUMENT BELOW
