On Tuesday evening, Dec. 4, one of the largest crowds in the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce’s history gathered at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Museum to usher in the Christmas Season. The annual Christmas party is always a highly anticipated event and this year was no different.
Current Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Ryan Todtenbier introduced newly selected President Laura Lyles. After a brief and warm welcome she introduced the dignitaries that were present as well as the current Chamber Board of Directors. Having been a Chamber Ambassador herself, Lyles took great pleasure in introducing the current Ambassadors and explaining the hard work and dedication that they fulfill.
New Chairman for the 2019 year, John Richmond, also took a few moments to welcome the crowd and pledge his dedication for his upcoming term.
The crowd of partygoers enjoyed heavy hors d oeuvres donated from many of the local restaurant Chamber members.
While everyone enjoyed the festive party and the sights and sounds of the Museum the new Chamber President greeted the crowd and thanked everyone for their participation and encouraged them to attend the Annual Awards Banquet coming up in January 2019.
“I was so thrilled to see one of the largest turnouts in years for the Annual Chamber Christmas Party. Our business community is excited about the positive changes we are making and they want to be a part of it,” said Lyles.
Day two on the job proved eventful for the new Chamber President. If you would like to vote for businesses for the upcoming 100th year Annual Awards Banquet be sure and visit their website at NatchitochesChamber.com.
