Mardi Gras Ball channels Rock&Roll vibe

The Krewe of Dionysos held its annual Mardi Gras Ball and rocked the night away on Feb. 16. Decorations reflected this year’s theme: It’s Only Rock & Roll. Vinyl records, flashing lights and an enormous red guitar hanging from the ceiling set the mood for a fun filled event.

Hunter Horton and Ed Walsh served as Emcees. Bryan Picou, Dennis Bryant, John Richmond, Burley Johnson, and Keith Shirley sang the National Anthem. Past Royalty were recognized before the 2019 Royalty were announced.
