The NCHS Lady Chiefs Softball family sent its four seniors off in grand style at the Softball Senior Night game Friday, April 5th. Callista Owsley, Adrianna Brown, Natalie Sheffield, Ashley Britt and their families were honored in a ceremony before the start of their last home game. Each senior was accompanied by her family as she walked from the pitcher’s mound to home plate at which time she was presented with a bouquet of flowers and souvenirs of her tenure as a Lady Chief. The young women are an accomplished bunch who have superbly acquitted themselves on the field, in the classroom and in their lives.
Miss Owsely will be attending LSU as a preparation for medical school. Miss Brown will be majoring in Nursing at NSU. Miss Sheffield will be majoring in accounting at Benedictine College in Kansas where she will also play softball for her college. Miss Britt will go on to serve in the defense of our nation in the United States Army after which she will attend North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and study neuroscience.
The Natchitoches Parish Journal extends its best wishes to this hard working group of young women as they go on to the next part of their lives. We are looking forward to hearing great things about you in the future!
Consider the album an early graduation present from the Natchitoches Parish Journal. Feel free to download any you wish.
