  1. Fireworks and weekend shows is what supports Natchitoches. Mondays and January are down time. Duds enjoy yourselves on those quiet days

  2. I would like to know where the money for the fireworks comes from. I’m sure that it’s either a budget item, or they found the money somewhere else in the budget, but I have questions. Is the city pulling money from another budget item to pay for these extra occasions for fireworks display? How much money does the city actually spend on fireworks, including crew to set them off? How much money is recouped from charges to the public, as in tickets to the Christmas Festival? How much is the city spending that could be better spent elsewhere?

    • I honestly believe that the money comes from “entry fees” ALONG With Nat. Citizens taxes, utility bills, & tourist spending their money on EXTREMELY HIGH PRICED” Items sold on FRONT STREET…..

  3. You have GOT to be FREAKIN’ kidding me !!!!
Can anybody, I mean anybody, find another way to celebrate something?

    Fireworks???? Again????
