Janice Bolton recognized as 2019 Louisiana Realtor of the Year at National Association of Realtors Convention

Janice Bolton of Bolton Realty in Natchitoches was recently recognized at the general session of the annual convention of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® in San Francisco for being the 2019 Louisiana Realtor of the Year. REALTOR® of the Year recognizes those who have served not only the real estate profession but also their communities. Since 1956, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® has been honoring the state REALTORS® of the Year during the annual REALTORS® Conference & Expo in November. This year’s keynote speaker was “Magic” Johnson. Bolton was chosen from approximately 15,000 members in Louisiana. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® has approximately 1.3 million members. App 20,000 REALTORS® attended the convention.

Bolton has served the industry as local association President, local MLS committee, state Regional Vice President, state Executive Committee and various other committees and task forces. She has also served her community as President of Natchitoches Chamber Board of Directors, President of Keep Natchitoches Beautiful, President of Cane River Children’s Services, President of LSMSA Parent’s Organization, City Planning Commissioner, and currently serves on the A+ Coalition and Ben D Johnson Center boards.

“It was a tremendous honor and thrill to represent Louisiana at the national convention and meet so many dedicated members of our industry”, said Bolton.
