  1. If you look at the Nursing Home report from yesterday, 69 of the 102 cases came from one miserably run nursing home! Wonder if Natchitoches residents can sue that place too for singlehandedly destroying the economy for everyone?

  2. Since the local authorities are giving out the numbers for those who have been cured, you should apply the State averages to Natchitoches Parish. In LA there are 34,709 cases and 26,249 cured. That’s a cured rate of 75.63%. Multiply 101 times 75.63% and you get that 76 people have been cured in this parish, leaving only 25 with the virus. And that’s if you apply the state averages. Since Natchitoches Parish is not a hot spot, I expect our numbers are a lot lower. I have no idea why the local officials don’t want us to know the real numbers.

  3. The NPJ updates on Covid-19 cases have listed 102 cases for May 15 (posted May 16) and 101 cases for May 17 (posted May 18). The total number of cases should not be going down. Has an incorrrect number been accidentally posted, or has a positive test reported on May 15 been changed to negative, thus reucing the number?

  4. Saturday May 16, 2020 NPJ had 102 cases and 12 deaths, today May 18, 2020 we have 101 cases and 12 deaths. How many have recovered?

  5. The NPJ update for Covid-19 cases on May 15 (posted on May 16) showed 102 cases, but the update posted today, May 18, shows 101 cases as of May 17. The total number of cases should not go down. What is thei explanation for this apparent decrease? Has an incorrect number been posted? Has a previous test result been incorrect?
