The Natchitoches Whataburger has responded to the video of an incident that took place at the Natchitoches location. Below is a statement from the franchisee:
“After viewing the Facebook video of an incident that took place at our Natchitoches restaurant, we’re disheartened and disappointed by the actions of those involved. We’re in the process of gathering all the details about what happened as we determine the best course of action.” – G.V.C.S., Inc.
Well if people stay away from Whataburger because of this it just means I won’t have to stand in line as long. Yea.
Natchitoches put everything on news……this happens all over the world .This whole world is messed up.
The manager needs to be fired on spot, but they want out of fear of being called racist. I’m a black person with some since here. I see a young man being attacked I don’t care what started it. If that man isn’t fired than whataburger can kiss it!

This is the second ignorant thing I’ve seen this morning! What is up people, control yourselves! If you cant take the heat stay the HELL out the kitchen!!!!!! You cant take criticism, dont work for others, open and manage your own. You can’t take orders from upper management, leave, be y0ur own boss, stay at home, go get mental help, with your underlying problems. I hope they both got fired, and no special privileges for either of them! I dont care what happened! It just shows more of the ignorance some people have!

Using the standard applied to a previous situation at a restaurant in Natchitoches this appears on a cursory glance to be a racist attack on an employee by management.
It’s funny that you say that bc I was wondering why this wasent automatically claimed racist like it would have if it were the other way around. They wouldn’t be ” looking into it” if it was a white man and a black kid. It would automatically be racist and the town would be fired up. Instead, most ppl are laughing and saying fun to watch and he got what he deserved etc . Idk what really went on but can’t we ask questions every time and not just when it’s fits an agenda? True equality would be nice… And regaurdless, nothing gives this older man the right to attack this younger boy. Can’t see very well but the boy looks like he’s still in freaking high school.

Some of you are giving your opinion without the facts. Let Whataburger management do their job. This could happen anywhere…even in your workplace under the right conditions. I don’t take this as a reflection on Whataburger, it’s a reflection on the person who caused it. Some of you are quick the judge without the facts. What if someone came into your workplace a caused a disturbance with you, should you get fired too?

Was out of town yesterday on business and returned home late, so we decided that we would wait and go to Whataburger today(Wednesday). After seeing the video, I am glad we didn’t go.

U are right…I’m never going there..I wldnt even work there unless I was a manager…..because great management skills is required..not foolishness, attitude, rudeness are poor service…manager and all involve could have went in office and resolved tbis without maturity and his duty as their leader..everyone not born to lead.

I have never come to blows at work, or any place else, but I admit that I have been mad enough to visualize myself punching out the person involved. The beginning of the fight is not on this video. IF and I say IF, one of the parties did make physical contact initially, I would be hard pressed NOT to return the favor. I won’t say I would or wouldn’t because I’ve never been in that position. But, I think I would probably hit someone back if they hit me. If there is a policy at WhatABurger that any violent act will not be tolerated, then both should be fired. It all comes down to policy.
Well Gail, SOMEBODY had to make initial contact, or they wouldn’t be fighting. I’m sure both of them feel like they were totally in the right, and if it “wasn’t for that other guy and what HE did (not me), we wouldn’t be fighting.”
