Natchitoches Police investigate shooting on Old Robeline Road

On January 30, 2022 around 6:29 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the 1100 block of Old Robeline Road in reference to gunshots in the area. While officers were on Old Robeline Road they were notified by the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center that an individual arrived at the hospital with a single gunshot wound to the leg. Officers were able to learn that the victim was shot in the 1100 block of Old Robeline Road and brought to the hospital in a personal vehicle.

The victim was later airlifted to a hospital in Rapides Parish for further treatment.

Detectives assigned to the case have identified Alex Willis (B/M, 35 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) as a suspect and has obtained an arrest warrant for Attempted Second Degree Murder.
