Local doctor collects shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child

Anyone interested in participating in the ministry of Samaritans’s Purse Operation Christmas Child can go to Dr. Jimmy Cade’s office on East Fifth in Natchitoches to pick up a shoebox. The shoebox needs to be packed with toiletries, school supplies, toys and stuff animals, clothes and or shoes.

The shoeboxes are sent to third world countries to children who have never received a gift. Each child hears the gospel, receives a booklet with the gospel in their very own language and is able to participate in 12 lessons about The Greatest Journey.

Bring packed shoeboxes to Dr. Cade’s office, a local church, or to First Baptist in Natchitoches.

National Collection Week is Nov. 14-21.
