The Coca-Cola “Santa Express” Visits Natchitoches

Coca-Cola’s “Santa Express” paid a visit to Natchitoches Thursday, December 1. The Santa Express is a truck outfitted with Christmas lights that play holiday music and is themed with images of the iconic beverage and Santa. The truck was accompanied by Santa himself who handed out toys and delighted children of all ages at a stop at a local business.
The truck, along with Coca-Cola executives and local employees, were also on hand to be recognized by Mr. Johnny Barnes of the Concerned Citizens Association of Natchitoches and City Councilwoman Betty Sawyer-Smith for the contributions to the Natchitoches community. Our very own Natchitoches Parish Journal was also honored for its coverage of the community.
The Santa Express made its inaugural appearance in the Christmas Festival Parade Saturday, bringing holiday music and Christmas cheer to one and all.
