January 7, 2023 marks the start of the Mardi Gras season, Twelfth Night-12 days after Christmas.

 

The Krewe of Excellence Twelfth Night parade has been POSTPONED. Other Krewe activities will still take place on Jan. 7. Open to the public, the following activities will include: Jazz Coffee Gathering at 9 am at Breadhouse Nakatosh Restaurant 1202 Texas Street and the Flag Raising (raising the krewe’s flag) Ceremony at 10 am at the Martin Luther King Triangle, located at 1000 Martin Luther King Dr. 

 

The new date for the krewe’s inaugural parade-will be announced through this medium.
