The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches held its first weekly meeting of the year and had a great guest speaker to kick off 2023. After club president Craig George gave club updates and news, Dr. Anthony Pursell, director of the Northwestern State Spirit of Northwestern (SON) band, was introduced to the group. Pursell talked about how although the band is most widely recognized for their performances at football games, the SON are involved with many facets of campus life and improve overall university morale.
