The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches met at its weekly meeting on January 19, where club president Craig George gave updates on club business and upcoming events.  George discussed that the Terrific Kids program is going well and all feedback has been positive as the schools are excited about having the program back.

 

Craig George introduced Katelyn Yopp, director of the Natchitoches Christmas Angels to the club.  Yopp, a graduate student at LSU and intern with the Cane River Children Services, took on the role of director within the last year and successfully hosted its first pageant after a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Christmas Angels serve as ambassadors for the Natchitoches Christmas Festival as well as the City of Natchitoches.
