MONTGOMERY MAN ESCAPES INJURY IN SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH ON LA HWY 1225 NEAR CLARENCE

(Clarence)-A Montgomery man escaped injury in a single-vehicle crash this afternoon on La Hwy 1225 nesr Clarence according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
 
At approximately 3:59pm, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS responded to NATCOM 911 Center reports of a single-vehicle crash on La Hwy 1225 near Clarence, La.
Deputies say a 60-year-old Montgomery man was operating a 2006 GMC pickup truck traveling westbound on La Hwy 1225 when the vehicle left the road on the right side striking a tree. The vehicle then re-entered the roadway traveling a short distance leaving the road again on the right side striking a wood fence coming to a rest.
The driver was assessed at the scene by EMS and released without transport to a medical facility.
The vehicle was removed from the scene by a local towing service.
