The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening on Highway 3110 near South Drive.
Natchitoches Police Department officers responded to a business on Feb. 12 around 9:21 pm in the 7000 block of Highway 3110 in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon officers arrival they located the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital in Rapides Parish where they are listed in stable condition.
This investigation is ongoing and the Natchitoches Police Department will release more details as they become available.
