The Natchitoches Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating Zachary Cordell Moore (B/M, 27 y.o.a. of Campti).
An arrest warrant has been issued for Zachary Cordell Moore who is charged with attempted second degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and obstruction of justice.
On February 13, 2023, Kendarius Jones (B/M, 28 y.o.a. of Mansfield) was arrested without incident.
Kendarius Jones was placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center where he is charged with principle to attempted second degree murder and obstruction of justice.

Original Story: Natchitoches Police investigate shooting that occurred Sunday evening
The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening on Highway 3110 near South Drive.
On February 12, 2023 around 9:21 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department responded to a business in the 7000 block of Highway 3110 in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon officers arrival they located the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital in Rapides Parish where they are listed in stable condition.
