Jr. High JAG students participate in Critical Decision Making Competition

Natchitoches Junior High JAG Members would like to recognize JAG’s President Jayna Curry, Vice President Michael Brown, Secretary Ky’lia Miller, and DaVonte Middleton for competing (via zoom) in the Critical Decision Making Competition on Feb. 8. 
 
The members competed against middle school JAG members across the state of Louisiana. On the day of competition, the members were emailed a scenario and given thirty minutes to research, practice, and present their best solution.
 
The members will represent Natchitoches Junior High JAG & JAG-LA at the Student Development Conference at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette on March 1. 
 
The Jobs for America’s Graduates Middle School Program helps 6th to 8th graders successfully transition to the next grade and from middle to high school. Specialists implement counseling, skills development, career association, and experiential learning to improve academic performance, school behavior, attendance, confidence, participation and self-esteem. Middle School participants improve leadership and effective team member skills.
