It will soon be spring yard clean-up time, so the Natchitoches Parish Fire District 6 urges caution when clearing vegetation damaged by the cold weather. Make sure the area is checked closely for hidden gas meters and other obstacles that could be extremely dangerous if damaged by controlled burning or heavy equipment.
