Lynn Forney Young, Honorary President General, NSDAR, U.S. Semiquincentennial Commissioner was the keynote speaker at the NSDAR Northwest District Patriotic Luncheon in Natchitoches. Young, who serves as a commissioner on the U. S. Semiquincentennial Commission, spoke about how each community can begin their celebration plans locally and statewide.

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution(NSDAR) has established their own America250! Committee in preparation for this momentous occasion.

The Northwest District luncheon was hosted by Cane River Chapter, Sabine Chapter, and St. Denis Chapter, DAR. In attendance was Natchitoches Mayor Ronnie Williams Jr., Vice Regent(2022-2025)NSDAR Charlotte Hodge White, and with
Greetings from Louisiana Society DAR State Regent, Cheryl Whitlow Gott.
