The annual Steel Magnolia Run, presented by Vaughn Chevrolet Buick, is back and taking it to the brick streets of Natchitoches Saturday, March 18th on the Natchitoches Riverbank. Lace up your shoes and join a great community event benefiting the NRMC Foundation’s PET Scanner initiative. Walk, jog, or run…it’s up to you!

The NRMC Foundation’s mission is to ensure that Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is equipped to provide healthcare excellence to everyone in our greater community. The PET Scanner initiative is designed to raise funds to bring this state of the art, lifesaving technology to the NRMC Cancer Center and our patients, families, and friends. Currently the only way for cancer patients in our surrounding area to receive a PET Scan is to travel to long distances, with considerable appointment delays due to demand. The addition of this technology will be a game changer for local cancer patients.

The event hosted by the NRMC Foundation, and presented by Vaughn Chevrolet Buick, offers a 1 Mile Walk/ Run or 5K Walk/Run. For those who would like to support the Foundation but cannot participate, a virtual runner option is available. All participants will receive a t-shirt and swag bag!
