Lakeview Gator Nation held its Education Extravaganza on March 17. This event offered parents and community members the opportunity to engage in activities that focused on literacy, math, social studies and science led by our student ambassadors. Additionally, Air Force JROTC  introduced their new STEM class with a drone demonstration and plenty of information. Parents were also able to pick up report cards and speak with teachers. Our testing team had information available about the upcoming LEAP tests including test taking tips. As an added bonus, we hosted a parent meeting about an exciting opportunity for our students to travel to New York and Washington D.C. in May of next year. This event, sponsored by several school organizations, will give our students a chance to explore New York City and Washington D. C. during a presidential election year.
