Lawson Brown is a 4th grade student in Natchitoches Parish and has always been a hard-working student. His grandmother, Joy Brown, has been struggling with pancreatic cancer and going through chemo so she began losing her hair. There was hair everywhere, so she cut it off. To her surprise, Lawson wasn’t fair behind. His mother said, “He took the clippers, and went down the middle. He wanted to show his support for his grandmothers fight and cut his hair off to match.”
