NACGODOCHES, Texas – Northwestern State’s mid-week baseball game against Stephen F. Austin scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled.

Conditions at Jaycees Field have been deemed unplayable and the contest will not be rescheduled.

The Demons and Lumberjacks split their two-game season series with SFA winning at Sugar Land, Texas, on Feb. 26, and NSU returning the favor two days later in Natchitoches.

Northwestern State returns to action Friday when it opens a three-game Southland Conference series against Houston Christian at 2 p.m. in Houston.
