The Boys to Men Club performed Community Service at the Natchitoches Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on March 31. This marks the second of two annual Community Service Initiatives performed each school year at this nursing facility that they’ve adopted.
Residents were given diet-friendly items such as water, yogurt, applesauce, and jello. Following the nursing home, the guys were given a first-hand tour of the inner daily operations of City Bank & Trust Company.
Concluding the day was an in-depth visit to the local community college campus. Here, these young men were shown what programs they offer such as Welding, Cosmetology, Robotics, and Nursing, just to name a few. They also were enlightened on the Dual Enrollment opportunities available through a partnership with Natchitoches Central.
These guys were consistent, as always, in blue and black dress attire. For information on the Boys to Men Club, contact Club Director Jermaine Thomas at Natchitoches Junior High School via email at jermaine.thomas@npsb.la.
