Early voting for the 2023 election kicked off Saturday, April 15 at the parish courthouse with a higher than usual number of voters coming to the polls. At stake are a slate of tax questions concerning the parish schools, ambulance service and the rededication of the library tax.
Early voting will continue from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day but Sunday at the Natchitoches Parish Courthouse. The early voting started today and will continue until April 22. Election Day is April 29.
The Natchitoches Parish Journal urges every citizen to exercise their right to vote. Early voting is an excellent opportunity to ensure that your voice will be heard!
