The St. Denis Art League Spring Festival Board of Directors announces the Gentlemen of the Court for the 55th Presentation and Ball. Eighteen young men will be presented on April 29 at the Natchitoches Events Center.
Sawyer Reeves Anderson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garrett Anderson, Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gregg Wilbanks, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garrett Anderson, Sr. His sister, Katherine, was presented as a Lady of the Court in 2021. Sawyer is a senior at Natchitoches Central High School.
Christian Odysseus Carpenter is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Finke Mims, Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Edward Carpenter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dorsey White, and the late Mr. James Finke Mims, Sr. His grandmother, Mary Williams White, was presented at the 250th Anniversary Celebration. Christian is a senior at NCHS.

Caden Lee Conley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Corey Lucas Conley. He the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Lee Hansel, Mr. Ronald Glen Conley, and Ms. Ruth Hailey. His brother, Colton Brandon, was a Gentleman on the 2022 Court. Caden is a senior at NCHS.
Alexander Turner Dupuy is the son of Mr. Jordan Scott Dupuy, and Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Greely. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dennis Dupuy, Mr. and Mrs. John Pipes Goodson, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turner Kurzweg. Alex is a senior at NCHS.
Hunter Duane Goodman is the son of Mr. Bradley Duane Goodman and Mrs. Kathryn Miller Perritt. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Huey Layne Miller, Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Lafitte III, and the late Mr. Alton Goodman. His mother and aunt, the former Kathryn Miller and Lauren Miller, were presented as Ladies of the Court in 2003 and 1999. His sister, Harper Elise Trichell was a Herald in 2022. Hunter is a senior at NCHS.
Benjamin Reaves Hogg, Jr. is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Benjamin Reaves Hogg, Sr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Robert Hogg, Mrs. Frances Horton Hayden and the late Mr. Hayden. Reaves is a senior at St. Mary’s High School.
Taylor Aaron Jordan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Raymond Jordan. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owen Benson and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Raymond Jordan. Taylor is a senior at NCHS.
Mason Cecil McCart is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Paul McCart. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vincent Maggio, Mr. Walter James McCart, and Mrs. Suzanne Stringer Sheppard.
His mother, the former Mary Carmella Maggio, was presented as a Lady of the Court in 1985. Mason is a senior at St. Mary’s High School.
Gavin Lane McConathy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark James McConathy. He is the grandson of Mr. David Cloud, the late Mrs. Cloud, Mr. Marvin McConathy, and the late Mrs. Judy Oglesby. His family, Gloria Faye Cloud and Lillian Hope McConathy, were both presented as Ushers and Ladies of the Court. Gavin is a senior at NCHS.
Mason Thomas Melder is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dwayne Hernandez. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dwayne Hernandez, Mrs. Ellis Weaver Melder, and the late Mr. Trent Melder. Mason is a senior at St. Mary’s High School.
Trent Michael Middendorf is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Zachary James Middendorf. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Arthur Machette and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Remi Middendorf. His brother, Reed Warren, was a Gentleman of the 2019 Court. Trent is a senior at St. Mary’s High School.
Henry Ian Murchison is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Thomas Murchison, Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. Gary Wayne Swindle, Mrs. Renee Taylor Beard, Mrs. Vickie Dillow Murchison, and the late Mr. Daniel Thomas Murchison, Sr. His sister, Anna Grace, was a Herald to King John Luster. Ian’s sister, Ava Margaret, was presented as a Lady of the Court in 2022. He is a senior at NCHS.
Charles Douglas O’Con is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles David O’Con. He is the grandson of Mr. John David Vice and the late Mrs. Vice, and Mr. Mrs. Charles Clevelan O’Con. Charles is a senior at St. Mary’s High School.
Joseph Adan Parker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Ray Parker. He is the grandson of Mr. Harvey Francis Marcus, Ms. Sarah Jo Adams Marcus, Mrs. Ray Melton Parker and the late Mr. Parker. His mother, the former Amanda Marcus, was presented as a Lady in 1990. His brother, Jay, and sister, Jensen Virginia, were also members of the court as a Gentleman in 2019 and a Herald and Usher.
