No Cost Community Shredding Service This Friday

Spring cleaning just got a whole lot easier! The Natchitoches Parish Library (NPL) is bringing back its highly requested Community Shred Day, perfect for getting rid of old files and disposing of confidential information after tax season.

On Friday, April 29 from 10 AM to 2 PM, the NPL Main Branch (located at 450 Second St.) will be equipped with an industrial-strength mobile shredding truck available for public use, completely free of charge! That’s right, you read it correctly – no cost!

So, if you’re looking for a safe and secure way to dispose of your old paper documents, look no further than the NPL’s shredding event. And don’t worry about removing staples or paperclips, they can stay attached.

The best part? This service is available to everyone, and businesses are included! Just make sure to stay with your documents until they have all been loaded into the shredder, as drop-offs are not permitted. Individuals will have a separate priority line for quicker service.

Looking for more information about this or any other library events and services? Visit the NPL’s Facebook page or head to natlib.org. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to declutter your space and keep your information secure.
