
William Dustin Cross will reign as the 55th King of the Spring Festival Court presented by the St. Denis Art League at its Annual Presentation and Ball on Saturday, April 29 at the Natchitoches Event Center.
Dustin is a partner and licensed Certified Financial Planner at Cross Financial Group, LLC. A graduate of Natchitoches Central High School, he completed his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Financial Services and Planning at Baylor University in 1999. Dustin was a member of the Freshman Leadership Organization and Phi Gamma Delta fraternity while at Baylor.
An active member of the community in Natchitoches, Dustin has volunteered and served in several community organizations. He is a former member of the Natchitoches Areas Jaycees serving as President in 2005. Dustin was a member of the executive committee for the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce for several years serving as Chairman in 2013. In 2017 he joined the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation which he continues to serve on today.
Dustin’s greatest joy has come from volunteering as a coach for the youth in the community. He has spent numerous years coaching Dixie Youth baseball, Natchitoches Storm baseball, and St. Mary’s Catholic School Elementary and Junior High football teams.
Dustin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Herbert Cross. His family has a long history of participation in the Spring Festival Court. His mother was an active committee member of the St. Denis Art League helping to organize numerous Spring Festival Court presentations. His sister, Stephanie Cross Raburn, reigned as the 21st Queen of the Spring Festival Court, and his father reigned as the 26th King of the Spring Festival Court.
Dustin and his wife of 20 years, Amy Bedford Cross, have two sons, Colton Bedford and Luc Sicard. Dustin is a lifelong member of the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and an active parent volunteer at St. Mary’s Catholic School.
