Natchez Mayor Patsy Ward Hoover warns residents to be aware of two males in the Village Of Natchez who are going door to door, claiming to sell insurance. They are attempting to use the names of people who may live in the area as a “reference” to gain trust. They are driving a gray Nissan with a Texas license plate, numbers SNR5040. Natchez Chief of Police Michael Gillie is aware of the situation. Residents are encouraged to keep their doors locked and be safe.
