November 10, 2023, the Central Fire Station received a dispatch from The City Police reporting a structure fire at 1815 South Drive lot 1364. Engine 2 from Station 2 along with Engine 1, Rescue 1, and Truck 1 from Central Fire Station was dispatched to the incident.

Upon arrival fire crews found a mobile home that was 90% destroyed by fire. Fire crews established a water source from the closest hydrant and pulled firefighting lines from Engine 2 to extinguish the remaining fire.

ATMOS Energy and City Utility Crews were notified to shut the utilities off to the involved structure.

No civilian or fire crew injuries were reported. This cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
