Henry Craig Annis peacefully passed away on July 24th, 2024, at the age of 72.
Henry (Craig) was a proud graduate of the University of Nebraska—Omaha. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work. For over 35 years, he labored as a machinist at the Kellogg Company in Omaha, NE. His claim to fame was having a part in Treme, a HBO series shot in New Orleans. He was very proud to have served his country as a Drill Sergeant in the U.S. Army, being honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant.
Craig is survived by his loving wife Janet Annis, daughter Jennifer of Rapid City, SD, son Franklin of Arlington, VA, as well as eight cherished grandchildren – Janae, Jacob, Jordyn, John, Oden, Annie, Maggie, and Rosie. He is also survived by his two sisters Mary of Pahrump, NV, and Eugena of Omaha, NE.
Services to honor and remember Craig took place at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. A visitation was held on Sunday July 28th, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday July 29th, 2024, with burial at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.
