Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Stuart Wright has promoted Deputy Thurman Baptiste to the rank of detective in the NPSO Criminal Investigations Bureau.

 

Deputy Baptiste, a graduate of Ringgold High School, served 14-years in the United States Marine Corps.

 

Baptiste began his career at the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office in 2011 assigned to the NPSO Patrol Division where he worked his way up to the rank of Sergeant.
