Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies T. Hortman and T. Stewart along with Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #9 responded to the scene of a reported possible mobile home fire on Nov. 3 in the 1600 block of US71/84 in Campti according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriffs Office.
Deputies checked the area and learned that the fire was a large burn pile. There were no reported injuries. The burn ban remains in place until further notice. LDAF responded with a dozer to plow a fire lane around the fire.
